Let's be real, most people are nervous when they step in front of a camera! And while that is normal and totally fine, my job is to make your experience as relaxing and fun as possible.
When looking through old family photo albums, the images you'll stop on time and time again are the ones that come with a story, they spark a memory, they're the photos of camping, playing, fishing, cooking in grandma's kitchen. They're the photos that built your core memories.
During my booking process you'll fill out a brief questionnaire designed to help us brainstorm for your session. This questionnaire will not only tell me important info like the names and ages of your children, or the story of how you met and fell in love, but it'll give me an idea of a familiar dynamic for your family.
My questionnaire will inspire ideas for props, locations, and activities we can do during your shoot, giving your family something to focus on that isn't the camera, which will result in those sweet little smiles as you hand your toddler a cookie... see image above.
I will follow up with my thoughts & based on your answers we will curate a truly memorable day frozen in time and preserved in photos forever.
